Very clean, stupid low kilometrage. Rentnerfahrzeug, I imagine. It’s still a lot of money for a 15 year old Omega though. Are you looking for a comfy Autobahn cruiser without any sporting pretensions? With that base engine mated to an automatic transmission it isn’t exactly a brisk accelerator either.

You have to look at the rear doors and fenders closely. Opel claimed corrosion issues solved few times during Omega production, but they never were.

My family owned a Caravan version decade ago. Suspension bits were kinda expendables, but cheap to replace. Super annoying was water getting into front passenger’ footwell through the heater because of clogged drainage tube. Otherwise, it was a decent car, lots of miles, great fuel economy)

Oooh, an Omega! One of the first cars to have xenon lights.

Haven’t seen one in I don’t know how long.

If you’re looking for an Omega, this might be one of the better options out there. Not sure if you should buy one though, I wouldn’t. Even if it is tempting to get one and put a 3.0 or 3.2 engine in it.

i brought a ex police one a few years ago for £500. 3.0 supercharged v6 manual and the best bit, rwd. it was a really comfy motorway cruiser and drift missile, sadly i blew it up after 4 months but it was so much fun to hoon about, even though it didnt have 2nd gear you could get wheel spin up to 4th (in the wet)

I like to drive fast haha. But with my parent’s Golf I am used to driving rather slow/normal. This Omega just caught my attention out of the other usual choices.

I am aware of their problems with 90s/00s cars. But from the pics it looks super clean.

Both are awesome. I’d take the 6 door Omega as a family car haha. Way better than any other family hauler

i almost got a Volvo limo as a family car but it was to long to fit on my drive. with my tribe (4 kids soon to be 5 in the next week or so) a omega limo would be perfect, and once they start arguing with each other i can close the partition and not listen to them lol

That’s awesome! Too bad that it didn’t work out with the Volvo. But you’re none the less cooler than most dads for looking at a limo as a family car.
